Focus on Business Ideas and Markets


Working in a team, the seminar participants develop their own business ideas, check their marketability via interviews and present their results clearly structured in business plans. The objective is to recognize and actually implement business opportunities.

1.) Find your team


Idea pool: After having registered for the seminar, you can post and find ideas online

Kick-off: Information on the different courses and lecturers, as well as workshops on idea generation (mandatory evening session)

Idea Vernissage: Presentation of ideas, finding of team members (mandatory evening session)

2.) As a team, choose a suitable course


On the evening of the Idea Vernissage you can choose your preferred course as a team:

  • German or English
  • weekly or block course
  • At Garching Research Center or at TUM-Campus city center
If you are unable to find a team, you cannot participate in the seminar!



3.) Work on your project in teamwork

Conduct interviews, understand your customer, establish a business model and write a business plan.



4.) Present your results and receive feedback


Several presentations, feedback from coaches, support from communication coaches
