Establishing and Managing a Growth-Oriented CompanyOutstanding company founders, entrepreneurs and managers covering a wide range of industry make participants acquainted with highlights such as the recognition of opportunities, innovation management, growth and leadership. Proceeding from their own experience, the speakers describe what know-how and competences are required to take successful decisions in an entrepreneurial environment and pursue innovations in the market. Making Entrepreneurship a Tangible AssetParticipants acquire a basic understanding of the establishment and management of a growth-oriented company. They also receive practical tips describing how the entrepreneurial network functions on the TUM Campus and how they can use this network to their own personal advantage. Students and participants taking their doctor's degree also have the opportunity in the lectures and in a small group during dinner to discuss matters of interest in a dialog with the entrepreneurs present. Focus on ManagersIn the winter semester outstanding managers and executives from medium-sized and large companies examine aspects such as strategic management, the significance of growth and innovation, personnel policies, corporate finance, or aftersales.

The lecturers include Dr. Arend Oetker (Managing Partner of Dr. Arend Oetker Holding GmbH & Co. KG), Dr. Matthias L. Wolfgruber (Chairman of the Board of ALTANA AG), and Harald Krüger (Member of the Board of BMW AG, Human Resources and Social Affairs, Labor Director).
Focus on EntrepreneursThe summer semester lecture focuses on the establishment of companies. Entrepreneurs state how they have made their way in business and what experience they have gained in the process. Venture capitalists describe the various manifestations and risks when acquiring a share in business. In recent semesters entrepreneurs such as Max Wittrock (Founder and Managing Partner of mymuesli.com), Andreas Degenhart (Founder and CTO of Lokalisten Media GmbH) and Prof. Dr. Olaf G. Wilhelm (WILEX AG) have described the facets of entrepreneurship from their personal perspective.
