Three-day entrepreneurial skills training for academic researchers

Give your career some new perspectives. At E-Camp, in the course of just three days, you will try out business design tools and methods in a thoroughly hands-on manner. You will learn how to identify entrepreneurial opportunities to develop business models, and how to apply them in your daily research work.

Through interdisciplinary teamwork based on a new technology, you will learn to develop innovative business ideas in an iterative mode and to test them with potential customers. Through continual communication and interaction in a business context, your learning process will be significantly accelerated.

    Doctoral students from the TUM Graduate School: EUR 150.

    Students from other universities or Post-Docs:

    Reimbursement of the course fee is possible under the Guidelines of the TUM Graduate School.

    Experts from TUM Entrepreneurs, the TUM Entrepreneurship Research Institute, and founders of successful businesses will support you in your development of creative ideas.

    The location is usually Garching at the new Entrepreneurship Center of UnternehmerTUM and TUM, which hosts creative working spaces such as the 1500 square-meter high-tech workshop MakerSpace.

  • Approach

    E-Camp! provides you with a profound method of developing convincing business models in a structured way. Through interdisciplinary teamwork, action-based learning methods and experienced trainers, you will receive a personal Business Design Toolkit of your very own. In this way, you will find out not only how to put a business on its feet, and that business contacts are vital, but you will also gain more self-confidence in transforming your ideas into entrepreneurial opportunities and how to integrate it in your daily research work.
