Each year, our benchmark trip takes us to a different city that is considered a global leader in sustainable mobility. In 2026, we are heading to Vienna, a city known for its innovative solutions and sustainable mobility projects.

- Understand the mobility and energy strategies of the City of Vienna and Austria
- Get to know the key drivers of transformation in Vienna and Austria
- Build connections with relevant ecosystems
- Leverage the insights gained to initiate new projects and activities among partners

- Exclusive insights into Vienna’s path to climate neutrality by 2040 – from mobility and energy to housing
- Strategies for decarbonization, energy sharing, and scaling charging infrastructure
- Visit to the new “Supergrätzl”
- Austria’s approach to resilience for public institutions and infrastructure
- Preparations for autonomous driving
Target Group:
Participants include partner companies from the energy and mobility sectors of UnternehmerTUM, together with decision-makers from politics and public administration. This includes the City of Munich, state and federal ministries, the City of Hamburg, as well as other municipalities, along with companies and startups from the energy and mobility sector.
Costs:
The invitation includes program design, hotel selection, and the organization of all local logistics. Participants are responsible for booking and covering their own travel and accommodation. Costs for meals and local transportation will be shared proportionally among participants after the trip.
