UnternehmerTUM offers founders and start-ups a complete service from the initial idea to IPO. A team of experienced entrepreneurs, scientists, managers and investors supports founders with the development of their products, services and business models. The experts accompany them actively with building up their companies, market entry and financing - also via the UnternehmerTUM Fund. For industry partners, UnternehmerTUM is a unique platform for cooperation with new companies, and for expansion of their innovative strength and culture. Your mission

XPRENEURS (www.xpreneurs.io) is the Munich based incubator for deep-tech start-ups by UnternehmerTUM. In the 3-month full-time program we support strong, early-stage teams on their way to market entry by helping them validate their business model, win their first customers, and secure their first investment. Through our large network, we provide entrepreneurs with access to the high-tech lab MakerSpace, global B2B customers, as well as pre-seed and seed funding. Our office is located in the Munich Urban Colab, a vibrant and exciting brand new innovation hub in Munich.

In a new track of our incubation program, we support start-ups that use AI to revolutionize the legal profession for the Legal Tech Colab, powered by the TUM Venture Labs. With this new initiative, Bavaria is determined to play a leading role in this transformation of an entire industry. As Venture Consultant at XPRENEURS, you will be part of this Legal Tech innovation endeavor.

• Work with our teams, taking an active role in developing sustainable business models
• Scout for interesting early stage Software/AI and Legal Tech start-ups in the ecosystem
• Challenge hypotheses and help entrepreneurs reality-check their product or service and go-to-market strategy
• Support teams to find the best product-market fit by helping them identify first pilot customers and connect them with talent and industry partners
• Contribute to the program, develop new training formats, coordinate events and moderate workshops with renowned experts from the XPRENEURS network
• Expand and maintain our network of investors and mentors
• Coordinate our activities in the XPRENEURS program with the other project members and colleagues from TUM Venture Labs

Your profile

• Legal, Data Science or Business degree with strong academic records
• Proven track record of building software start-up businesses, ideally with a minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience
• You have managed people and projects yourself and are a self-starter, networker, and motivator
• Background in Legal and ideally a network in the Legal Tech field
• Passionate about entrepreneurial activities and starting up new businesses
• Fluent in written and verbal English and German
