The MSC Frontier Tech Hub is an exclusive, invitation-only event, fully embedded within the ecosystem of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), and with direct access to Europe's strongest frontier tech and innovation ecosystem of UnternehmerTUM & TUM Venture Labs.

For decades security technology flowed from government programs to the market. Today it increasingly flows the other way. Europe's challenge is not to generate innovation but to adopt and scale it fast enough. The MSC Frontier Tech Hub is where we confront that challenge.

Under the new name MSC Frontier Tech Hub, the Munich Security Conference (MSC), UnternehmerTUM, and TUM Venture Labs are joining forces, pooling their international reach and further expanding strategic dialogue at the intersection of technology, security, and innovation.

As geopolitical tensions rise and global technology competition intensifies, future technologies are moving increasingly to the center of economic, societal, and security policy debates.

Technological Sovereignty Through Strong Partnerships

The second edition of this invitation-only format will once again be held as an official part of the MSC, within walking distance of the Bayerischer Hof, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK). It focuses on close collaboration between corporates, startups, and scaleups, on shared exchange, concrete partnerships, and new initiatives.

It's all about strong individuals and functioning networks

What began in 2026 with more than 800 guests from over 40 countries, 50 high-level speakers, twelve panels, and five closed-door roundtables continues on February 12 and 13, 2027. More than 1,000 international decision-makers from government, industry, defense, academia, and the innovation ecosystem are expected to attend.

Technology as a Decisive Factor for Europe's Security

AI and autonomous systems, sovereign digital infrastructure, energy and cybersecurity, resilient supply chains, and emerging developments in space and defense are to shape Europe's competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy. The Hub provides the framework to examine these technologies in the context of their economic, societal, and security policy implications.

Agenda to be announced

MSC Frontier Tech Hub’s program for February 12–13, 2027, will be released well in advance. Around 1,000 top-tier guests are expected to attend. MSC Frontier Tech Hub is an exclusive, invite-only conference. As an official MSC side event, follows the schedule and protocols of the international security conference.
