Lecture series "Innovative entrepreneurs"

Hear innovative entrepreneurs live

The lecture series "Innovative entrepreneurs" enables you to meet outstanding managers, entrepreneurs, executives and founders of businesses in person. The guest speakers will provide an insight into their work and give you a basic understanding of how to found and manage technology-based and growth-oriented businesses. While it will be all about starting a business in the summer semester, the focus in the winter semester will be on managing and leading large and medium-sized companies.

If you want to learn how to think outside the box and complement theory by an insight into practice, this lecture series will be the right place for you! Furthermore, in the workshop "Start-up YOU!" you will find out more about your personal strengths and get an idea of how to shape your future career.

How you will benefit:
  • Developing a feeling and understanding for entrepreneurship and the context of management and economics
  • Learning from the experience of entrepreneurial personalities
  • Taking a look behind the scenes of large and medium-sized businesses in their capacity as potential employers
  • Concerning oneself with own skillset and entrepreneurial identity
  • Possibility of close exchange between speakers and fellow students at the "Speaker's Dinner"

The registration for the summer semester 2017 is closed.

  • Testimonial Robert Sebald
  • What I liked most about the workshop „Start-up YOU“ was the fact that we not only were introduced to the methodical approach but also to the mindset behind it. The casual atmosphere and the task helped to overcome one’s fears. We succeeded in getting fully involved in a conversation with someone we had not known before, in getting to know this person and in opening up ourselves. The prototype construction of the fictional job with crafting material was also great fun. I can only recommend the workshop to anyone.
