TALK#1: Does an AI Evangelist Drive a Yellow Submarine?
by Julia Herzog-Butter, former AI Evangelist @ Scout24

In this talk, I share my learnings from my position as AI Evangelist and what I have seen in other companies (not) work. What change management elements should you address in a similar position? And what actions would I recommend doing? What would I do differently with today's knowledge? What are the most important factors to be successful?

About Julia:
Before becoming AI Evangelist at Scout24 Julia worked in innovation consulting (Systematic Inventive Thinking) and product management. She decided to leave her position as Head of Product (OEM segment) to go on the venture to make Scout AI-ready. In her role as AI Evangelist, she combined her knowledge and experiences in ML, User-centric innovation, and Cultural Change. Julia is a CDTM and HPI School of Design Thinking Alumna. (A few talks Julia has given before)

TALK#2: Connecting Students and Companies for AI Projects
by Florian Donhauser and Hai Dang from TUM.ai

With over 120 active members, TUM.ai is Germany's leading AI student initiative, located in Munich. One of its goals is to connect students and relevant stakeholders to facilitate the application of AI in various domains. With this goal in mind, TUM.ai started the so-called ‘Industry Projects’ in October 2021. Here, students get together with industry partners to find an AI solution to a given challenge. Six of these projects have successfully been completed, and the next ones are already in the making. In this talk, TUM.ai members Florian and Hai will present how students and companies can work together to find innovative AI solutions to existing problems in the industry. They will explain how TUM.ai sources partners, collaborates with them, and implements AI solutions. You will find out how to apply AI in the industry and how students can get involved in this growing field.

About TUM.ai:
TUM.ai is a Munich-based student initiative with the vision to include everyone in a future with AI. Signature projects include the Makeathon, Industry Projects, educational events, and partner interactions with a focus on deploying AI solutions into new fields. Florian Donhauser is a team lead for educational events at TUM.ai and an M.Sc. Computer Science student at TUM with a focus on Machine Learning. Hai Dang is a mentor for the educational department and a second-year Ph.D. student in the HCI+AI research group at the University of Bayreuth.
