Opportunity Hunters Talks

Opportunity Hunters Talks bring founders, executives, and industry leaders to UnternehmerTUM to share how they really built their companies. Each talk is part of the Opportunity Hunters Program where you learn to read a problem like an entrepreneur and turn it into your own project.

This talk opens the semester, and it's part of Munich Climate Week, a citywide initiative connecting hundreds of events, partners, and people working on climate solutions together. Fittingly, we're kicking off with two speakers who show two sides of the same mission: building the ecosystem, and building a company inside it.

Helmut Schönenberger, CEO UnternehmerTUM & Vice President TUM

Founded in 2002 together with entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, UnternehmerTUM is Europe's largest center for innovation and business creation, supporting founders and scientists from a first idea through to a market-ready product.

Gyri Reiersen, Co-Founder & CPO, Tanso

Founded in 2021 and based in Munich, Tanso is a software company that helps industrial and manufacturing companies measure and manage their carbon emissions, with the goal of bringing climate intelligence to European industry.
