Attendance is free of charge.
Manage&More is centred on work involving innovation projects. Gain project experience at businesses from various different sectors and develop innovative solutions for specific problems of these companies. Put your idea into practice in a business set-up project and build up your own business, step by step.
In cooperation with the Karl Schlecht Stiftung (KSG) we enable you to experience an intense process of becoming a personality of entrepreneurship and leadership. You will look into your personality, understanding of leadership, motivation and value proposition.
You will establish various contacts during the Manage&More programme, be it other Manage&More scholars, some of the 400 alumni of the program, professionals and founders from the UnternehmerTUM network.
Manage&More offers you to not only get to know methods and tools in theory but also how to apply them in practice. Amongst other things you will improve your presentation and project management skills and unfold your creative potential.
For the duration of the programme you will be assisted by your personal mentor, who will provide you with an insight into companies’ culture, values and executive functions. Often scholars and their mentors stay in touch long beyond the period of Manage&More which opens up opportunities for starting your career.
Along with the actual project work, you will be able to design and influence the Manage&More programme, e.g. by updating the Facebook page, organising events, or maintaining contacts with former students and international partners.

Verena Schechner, CEO of NOAX Technologies AG
Although taking over "NOAX Technologies" from her parents wasn’t a specific goal during her time at university, this is exactly what Manage&More alumna Verena Schechner did only three years after her graduation. Today she’s the CEO of the company, which is producing rugged and reliable industrial PCs "Made in Germany". Her time with Manage&More was a crucial part of the preparation to master this step successfully: Amongst other things she learned to develop promising innovations for companies like BMW – in an interdisciplinary team and in close cooperation with the customer.
Andreas Kunze und Dennis Humhal, co-founders of KONUX
Success all along the line: Manage&More scholarship holders Andreas Kunze and Dennis Humhal, jointly with fellow participants, developed an optical measurement principle by which, for instance, the acceleration of vehicles can be determined. The team has patented the technology and produced a prototype with the Fraunhofer Institute of Tools and Metalwork. Meanwhile KONUX has won several competitions: The team was one of the winners of the Munich Business Plan Competition, the Siemens Idea Challenge, and has been included in the Company Building Program of Founder.org. Their probably biggest success: a capital of 1.6 millions US dollar which KONUX gathered within a seed investment round. Their goals for the future are equally ambitious: KONUX aims to gain further customers in Germany and to prepare the US market entry. We wish them every success in the future!
Markus und Tobias Hallermann, co-founders of komoot GmbH
With komoot it is quite simple to get out into the countryside. Using data mining and machine learning, the outdoor navigation system suggests personalised bicycle tours and walks – including comprehensive information such as distance, difficulty and offline topographic maps. komoot was founded in 2010 by former Manage&More students Markus and Tobias Hallermann and four fellow participants. Meanwhile the team grew and took on an international dimension. In November 2013 komoot succeeded in doing what many business founders only dream of: a seven-figure financing scheme. Markus and Tobias Hallermann describe their feelings: "With this fresh finance we shall build our team up further and handle the next stages, particularly in the field of recommendation algorithms." Thus in future komoot aims to inspire its users to ever new outdoor activities – and work further on its own success story.
Frank Gabriel, head of global production projects at MULTIVAC
"A bold career thanks to Manage&More" – such would be a fitting description of Frank Gabriel's life so far. Frank's Manage&More mentor drew his attention to his present employer – and within scarcely more than two years Frank rose from assistant to the senior management to being head of global production projects. Now he is developing new production plants all round the world: in Spain, the USA, Brazil, India, China and Japan. Luckily during Manage&More Frank constantly trained at approaching projects in a structured way, analysing questions exactly, and presenting results convincingly. Thus he succeeded always in successfully mastering new challenges at MULTIVAC.
Friedrich Arnold, entrepreneur and director of the Manage&More Former Students' Association
Asked about the greatest added value of Manage&More, former student Friedrich Arnold has no doubts: "It's the unique network." Friedrich relies on this network both professionally and privately. Jointly with two other Manage&More scholarship holders, he founded Arnold, Schleyer & Partner - Management Consulting. "And also, many of my closest friends are former Manage&More students." To strengthen the network further and give it vitality, Frank works actively as a director of the Former Students' Association and as a mentor for Manage&More. "Learn, create, connect" – that, considers Friedrich, is the central message of Manage&More.
Ping Lu, Dominik Guber and Wolfgang Westermeier, founders of Customized Drinks GmbH
With Braufässchen ("Brewbarrel"), you can brew your own beer as you like it in just a week, and you don't need to be an expert. In 2012, the three founders of Braufässchen met through Manage&More, which allowed the founding team to successfully bring their idea to life and launch their own company. Since trading began in summer 2012, the start-up has sold more than 80,000 brewing kegs, nearly 40,000 of them in the 2014 financial year, corresponding to an annual turnover of 1.3 million euros. And the signs point to further growth: Autumn 2014 saw the introduction of the international version of the brand "Brewbarrel" and an English online shop, which is helping the founders to establish the brand internationally. As well as grow the business at a global level, the company also wants to expand further by selling raw materials for home brewing and high-quality ingredients such as flavourings. In spring 2015, Customized Drinks GmbH was nominated for the German Founders’ Award (Deutscher Gründerpreis) and made it to the final shortlist..
Zièd Bahrouni, Daniel Weiß, Michael Sauer, Philipp Dörner and Sören Gunia, founders of Motius GmbH
Full Manage&More power: With Motius, the five Manage&More scholarship holders have established a new development service provider specialised in advance development and prototyping with the latest technologies − made possible thanks to the company's flexible structure with an employee pool of over 500 students, young graduates and researchers from the fields of mechanical engineering, computer science and electrical engineering. The founders put them together to form specialized project teams according to requirements. Motius customers include BMW, Bosch and Fujitsu as well as "Hidden Champions" and SMEs in German industry. At the same time, Motius also set up a site in Oman two years ago and offers product development "Made in Germany" for companies and state organisations in the Golf region.
Julian Riedelsheimer and Frank Stegert, founders of 99chairs
They founded their company 99chairs just one year ago when Julian Riedelsheimer and Frank Stegert announced in February 2015 that their young company was receiving a six-figure investment from the High-Tech Gründerfonds and various business angels. The two Manage&More scholarship holders had recognized that their friends had little time for the tedious process of shopping for furniture and accessories – the reason behind their sparsely furnished apartments. With this in mind, their software is designed so that users can save time when furnishing their living space. The client first determines their taste with a "style check", is advised by their personal interior designer and then receives an individual and free online design concept. The products recommended can then be ordered directly from 99chairs..
