Dr Helmut Schönenberger, co-founder and managing director of UnternehmerTUM, has been working to inspire people to embrace entrepreneurship and innovation since 2002. While studying aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Munich, he and some fellow students established a consultancy firm that the university management commissioned to devise a strategic concept for strengthening the start-up culture at their establishment. This marked the beginning of UnternehmerTUM, where Helmut Schönenberger has since been a major contributor, designing and enhancing offers for business founders, researchers and commercial enterprises.
