Get started with Manage&More! In three semesters you will acquire experience with project planning, develop key competencies and make contact with companies and start-up founders.

In interdisciplinary teams, you will develop solutions for concrete problems in companies from a wide variety of industries or in your own start-up. You will be coached on a regular basis and receive advice from a personal mentor from our network.

By the way: Depending on your course of study, parts of the Manage&More program can be recognized as credit points, courses or internships (e.g. recognition of 6 credit points for business students at LMU).

 
Your projects with Manage&More

Manage & More focusses on real project work. Since 2004, over 60 start-ups have been created with Manage&More - including amiando GmbH or Customized Drinks GmbH with the product Braufässchen. Try it yourself, put your idea into practice during a start-up project and develop your own business step by step .

Alternatively, you can choose to work in an innovation project. Here, you work on specific problems and develop solutions with companies operating in different sectors. Whether in a start-up or an innovation project - get involved and expand your skills!
You also have the chance to actively shape Manage&More yourself. For example, you manage the Manage&More Facebook page, organize events or maintain contacts with alumni and international cooperation partners.

Manage&More offers you not only tools and methods, but even more important the opportunity to apply them in actual practice. Besides, you have the chance, to take on leadership responsibilities within a project and of course to expand your network .

Manage&More provides individual support - through our coaching and with a personal mentor from the business world.

Coaching enables you to discover your strengths and develop your abilities. Discussions with coaches open up new perspectives which help you achieve your professional and personal goals.

From the outset you will have a mentor from our network at your side - in meetings you acquire insights into the company and can obtain advice from a successful founder or an experienced executive. Contact often continues beyond the time with Manage&More and opens up opportunities for your entry into professional life.

What's more, a wide variety of workshops offer you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and upgrade your capabilities: you hone your skills in holding presentations and project management competencies, learn techniques for developing creativity and discuss different aspects of establishing a start-up.

Markus Echinger, co-founder of amiando AG and Contigua GmbH

Markus Eichinger, one oft he first Manage&More scholars, is a passionate entrepreneur. Shortly after finishing school, he founded be-solutions GmbH, a provider of intelligent IT solutions for corporate networks. During his studies, he was co-founder of SiROP, a network enabling collaboration of scientists and students, and the amiando AG, which professionalizes the organization of events. Currently, Markus works on customer loyalty systems for offline businesses with his latest start-up, Contigua GmbH. In an interview with current Manage&More scholars, Markus tells about his way as an entrepreneur, the birth of the Manage&More program and he gives tips for setting up an own business. Andreas Kunze, Marc Miller and Dennis Humhal, co-founders of KONUX

Success across the board: Manage&More scholars  Andreas Kunze, Marc Miller, Dennis Humhal and two other colleagues have developed an optical measuring principle to determine  the acceleration in vehicles and other physical metrics. The team has already applied for a patent, made ??a prototype with the Fraunhofer IWU and is negotiating partnerships with several medium-sized and DAX-companies. These efforts are now rewarded trebly: In February, the team won in the first stage of the Munich Business Plan Competition. In addition, KONUX was selected to pitch at the St. Gallen START Summit 2014 and to participate in the Stanford E-Bootcamp in California. We wish you all the best for the future, KONUX!

 

Markus und Tobias Hallermann, co-founders of komoot GmbH

With komoot, it is easy to get out into nature and navigate outdoors: using data mining and machine learning, komoot proposes personalized bike tours and walks and provides the user with detailed information such as distance, difficulty and offline topographical maps. komoot was founded in 2010 by the two Manage&More-Alumni Markus and Tobias Hallermann and four other entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, the team has grown internationally. In November 2013, komoot succeeded in what many founders dream of: a seven-figure funding round. Markus and Tobias Hallermann: "With the fresh funding, we will enlarge our team and take the next steps, particularly in the area of recommendation algorithms." In this way, komoot continues to inspire its users to go on new outdoor activities - and to work on their own success story.

 

Dominik Guber, Co-Inventor of the "Braufässchen"

Home-brewing unusual beer - that was the idea of Dominik Guber and three other Manage&More graduates. Anyone who likes beer and enjoys experimenting can easily become a creative brewer with Braufässchen. In the middle of May 2012, the four founded Customized Drinks GmbH, after having prepared the launch of their idea of self-brewed beer in a Manage&More's start-up project. By now Braufässchen is up and running: By the end of 2012 it had already won 3,000 enthusiastic customers and the owners are working on a growing number of new flavors. The four founders' recipe for success? A strong team!

 

Cristina Hartmann, Foreign Exchange Sales at UBS Investment Bank

Working on the trading floor in close touch with the latest market developments - this was the dream of Manage&More alumna Cristina Hartmann! After completing her TUM business management studies with a focus on corporate and entrepreneurial finance, she applied to UBS for a position in investment banking. Her experience with Manage&More when dealing with project partners and customers from the financial world and the self-confidence she gained were a great help in interviews for the job. Starting her career was also much easier for her, thanks to Manage&More: "I was able to test myself with Mange&More and learn from experienced colleagues,design projects and plan meetings - all this still helps me today!" By now, Cristina Hartmann is exactly where she wanted to be: She is working for UBS in foreign exchange sales in Zurich and is responsible for looking after customers from German-speaking countries as well as from Eastern Europe.

 

Friedrich Arnold, entrepreneur and Chairman of the Manage&More Alumni Association

When you ask Friedrich Arnold about THE long-term benefit of the Manage&More program, his answer is: "It's the unique network." Friedrich relies on this network professionally as well as privately. He founded "Arnold, Schleyer & Partners - Management Consulting" together with two other Manage&More scholars. "Moreover, many of my closest friends are Manage&More alumni." To strengthen and stimulate this network, Friedrich is actively involved as the Chairman of the Alumni Association and as a Manage&More mentor as well. How to become a part of Manage&More

For the 18-month program, we award 20 scholarships per semester.
 

Prerequisites for taking part in the program:

  • You are at least in your third semester (this does not apply to students in their second course of studies/additional studies) at a Munich university achieving good grades.
  • You're planning to start up your own business or take a leadership role in a company.
  • You think and act in an entrepreneurial way.
  • You're personally involved in initiatives or in your own business.
  • You've gained initial experience in interdisciplinary project and team work.
  • You can spend an average amount of 15 hours per week for the program (also during most of the semester holidays).
