Our goal is to contribute to the promotion of a responsible food culture through an interdisciplinary exchange. This network is intended to provide information that can also be can be implemented in one's own company.
The production of agricultural raw materials and food makes a decisive contribution to CO2 emissions. For this reason, all associated industrial sectors will be particularly affected by the consequences of climate change in the future. The major goal must therefore be to make the entire food value chain more sustainable. Corresponding measures and levers thus extend from the field to the catering trade as well as the food trade. However, in many areas the question arises as to how exactly the term sustainability is to be interpreted and which strategies are most promising. The Munich Food Convention 2023 aims to bring together decision-makers, experts and innovators from all areas of the value chain and jointly identify the greatest starting points for sustainability in food value creation.
