This U Talk was recorded in the context of HACK ‘N’ TALK.
HACK’N’TALK is a monthly community event created for entrepreneurs, innovators, and hackers to meet, exchange and create, hosted by Lisa Schebitz - Project Leader and Anna-Theresa Schmalholz Event- and Community Manager at UnternehmerTUM.
As the world spins faster and faster, the agile way of working is now more important than ever. In his keynote, Christian outlines how the cloud will help us work more agilely and ultimately take business to the next level.
Cloud computing gives us access to any resource, anytime, anywhere we need it. But the benefits go far beyond that. Cloud computing allows us to eliminate overhead and focus on value. More specifically, there are three basic principles:
1) Less operation: Don't worry about hardware, simply save time and use the cloud.
2) Less effort with no impact: Don't develop a solution to a standard problem, others have already solved. Take advantage of that and don't waste time while others are already "on their way"!
3) Less waste: Check your assumptions before investing too much. Conduct experiments, and do that very quickly. Build only small pieces that represent the essence of what you are trying to figure out, and use standard solutions that already exist for the rest.
With the support of all the advantages we have in a cloud, we are able to develop things faster, giving us an advantage over the competition. Plus, we have some capacity left over to experiment and make sure we're not only moving faster, but also moving in the right direction.
And now - join us and see how your business can be accelerated by using cloud technology!
