We have prepared this privacy policy to explain which personal data we, as joint controllers, process in connection with the “Charging Night” event.

Registration and management of participants
Joint selection of participants by the controllers
Admission control on site
Creation of name badges and facilitation of networking
Follow-up after the event

As part of registration and participation, the following personal data is collected and processed:

Position
Company
Email address
5. Legal Basis
The processing of personal data is based on:
a) Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures in the context of event registration)
b) Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in organizing and conducting the event as well as networking)
c) Where photos and videos are taken (see Section 8), additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
6. Data Sharing within Joint Controllership
Within the framework of joint controllership pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR, the following data is shared between the controllers:
Guest list for invitations (name and email address)
Ticket request data for the purpose of jointly selecting participants
Final list of participants
Data sharing is carried out exclusively for the purposes stated in Section 3. Forward Concept uses the data solely within the scope of the joint organization of the event and not for its own independent purposes.

We use the cloud services of Salesforce Service Cloud. The service provider is Salesforce Inc., Salesforce Tower, 415 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.
Salesforce also processes your data in the USA. Salesforce participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring a lawful and secure transfer of personal data from EU citizens to the USA. More information is available at:

Where external service providers are used, this is done on the basis of data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to third countries cannot be excluded. In such cases, transfers are carried out on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

Please note that during events related to “Charging Night”, digital images, audio recordings and/or videos of participants may be created and used for publication:

These images, audio recordings and/or videos may be used, edited, and stored for these purposes. They are used exclusively for public relations purposes of the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs and UnternehmerTUM and its affiliated companies.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where applicable, your consent.
9. Your Rights
In accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR, we inform you of the following rights to ensure fair and transparent data processing:
You have the right to:
a) Request information about the categories of data processed, processing purposes, recipients, and planned storage duration (Art. 15 GDPR)
b) Request the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
c) Withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
d) Object to data processing based on legitimate interests for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR)
e) Request the deletion of data in certain cases under Art. 17 GDPR, in particular where the data is no longer necessary or has been processed unlawfully, or where you have withdrawn consent or objected
f) Request restriction of processing under certain conditions where deletion is not possible or disputed (Art. 18 GDPR)
g) Data portability, i.e., to receive the data you have provided in a commonly used, machine-readable format (e.g., CSV) and, where applicable, transmit it to others (Art. 20 GDPR)
h) Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
Irrespective of this internal arrangement, you may exercise your rights as a data subject against any of the controllers.
