From September 29 to October 1, Munich will be in a startup fever. Three exciting days with visionary business ideas and experts from various industries are expecting more than 5,000 founders, investors and startup enthusiasts. On the last day, we'll say "O zapft is!" (when opening the beer barrel) at the traditional Oktoberfest Networking.

Your shoes got dirty on the way to Bits & Pretzels? One of many reasons to stop by the UnternehmerTUM stand - directly in the entrance area. With the RefresherBoxx, your shoes are clean again in no time - time to shine and get to know programs and other startups of UnternehmerTUM.

Exchange ideas with Inveox, last year's winners of the startup pitch. Their goal is to digitize and automate pathology labs. Also at the stand will be Brainboost, ProGlove, Innoactive, TUM Hyperloop, Kewazo and Ciara.

Besides, at the pitch stage the UnternehmerTUM startups Capmo and Innoactive will fight to reach the grand finale in front of 5,000 spectators. A total of 100 pre-selected startups will compete against each other in six different industrial clusters. Each startup has three minutes to demonstrate its business idea, true to the motto "show, don't tell", and then face the questions of a top-class jury.

Traditionally, on the last day of the event, we'll switch to the Oktoberfest tent "Schottenhammel" for networking. Andreas Unseld from UVC Partners and Kirstin Hegner, Managing Director of the Digital Hub Mobility, will be there as table captains. Under the guidance of an expert, the latest startup trends will be discussed over beer and roast chicken. There'll also be additional "Topic Tables" with a focus on current, exciting startup topics that are not moderated by a specific person. Under the motto "first come, first served", participants have the opportunity to secure a place at their favourite table three days before the event begins.
