Partner and Account Manager (m/f/x) - Full time (32 - 40h/week)
Location: Garching/ Munich
As Partner and Account Manager (m/f/x) at the UnternehmerTUM Academy for Innovators, you will play a key role in expanding and strengthening our network of partners and funding collaborators. You will bridge sales, fundraising, and project management – working with companies, foundations, and public institutions to create long-term, impactful partnerships that support our educational mission.
With an annual revenue target exceeding €3 million, this role is essential for scaling our partner relationships and ensuring the continued success of our programs. You will work closely with colleagues from Marketing, Sales, and our education teams to deliver high-value collaborations and shape sustainable growth.
Your key responsibilities:
Drive Partnerships: Develop and implement strategies to acquire and maintain strong partnerships with companies, foundations, and public funding organizations.
Lead Accounts: Manage key accounts and projects for sales and funding topics, ensuring seamless communication, delivery, and impact.
Secure Funding: Identify funding opportunities, coordinate applications, and manage grants and related reporting.
Create Impact Materials: Design persuasive presentations, proposals, and reports to win partners and secure long-term collaborations.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues across UnternehmerTUM to align partner needs with our program offerings.
2+ years of experience in account management, partnership development, or sales, ideally in an innovation, education, or funding environment.
Proven experience in funding acquisition or grant management (e.g. writing and coordinating funding proposals or donor reports).
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships.
Structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style with strong self-organization.
Strong communication and presentation skills in both German (C1) and English (B2+).
Confident handling of digital tools (experience with Salesforce and Notion is a plus).
Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, education, and impact-driven innovation.
