Your mission

Venture Capital is increasingly driven by speed, leverage, and automation. We are therefore looking for a technically strong Working Student/Intern to help us systematically automate our internal processes using AI agents, workflows, and no-/low-code tooling. You will work at the intersection of AI, operations, and venture capital, closely embedded in our Value Creation Team, with full ownership over automation initiatives and direct exposure to founders, partners, and portfolio companies.

Your core mission is simple but ambitious: Understand how we work – and automate everything that can be automated.

  • AI Agents & Workflow Automation – Designing, building, and maintaining AI-powered agents and automated workflows to optimize internal processes (e.g. corporate/startup matchmaking, research agents, etc.)
  • Process Enablement – Shadowing existing processes and translating operational pain point into scalable technical solutions
  • Data & Systems – Connecting and improving internal tools, databases, and knowledge systems to ensure smooth information flows
  • Value Creation Support – Enabling the Value Creation team and founders by reducing manual effort and increasing operational efficiency
Please note the role is within the Value Creation Team, not with the Investment Team.

On top we are providing you with a condensed apprenticeship program to learn the craft of venture capital at speed at the heart of Munich’s startup scene. The program includes the following modules:
  1. Deal sourcing
  2. Deal evaluation / due diligence
  3. Investment process
  4. Portfolio support

Your profile

  • You are currently studying a graduate degree with excellent results at a top-tier university and a technical focus (e.g. computer science, business information systems, engineering, or similar)
  • You bring programming skills and have hands-on experience with AI agents and workflow automation tools (e.g. Make.com, n8n, Zapier or similar)
  • You have previously worked in a fast-paced environment (startups, VC/PE, consulting, or similar)
  • You are product-driven, structured, and enjoy turning messy processes into clean systems
  • You work highly independently, take ownership, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • You are curious about startups, technology, and how AI can transform knowledge work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German

What we offer

  • Ownership – You will work on your own impactful projects from day one to directly shape how we operate in the AI age
  • Important member of the team – You will be part of the Value Creation team where you will get direct interaction with portfolio companies and the UnternehmerTUM ecosystem
  • Mentorship – Be paired with one senior member of our team with regular 1-to-1 sessions
  • VC Trainee Program – Take part in the knowledge sessions on venture capital foundations of our 10-month venture capital traineeship program.
  • Free sports classes – Join our free sports classes in the office in Munich
  • Competitive salary – You receive a competitive salary package and will have the flexibility to align your studies with our day-to-day operation

Diversity is important to us

Diversity enriches our team. We explicitly encourage all qualified individuals to apply, regardless of gender, social and ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability.

Contact

Please apply by uploading your CV, transcripts, and a cover letter, outlining what particularly excites you about the role and what kind of previous experiences you have with AI automation.
