Scalable start-ups in the alpine space – UnternehmerTUM is partner of Scale(up)Alps
Projekt Scale(up)Alps
The alpine space includes diverse regions with high innovation potential. Yet, it is not living up to its potential. In terms of competitiveness, it lags behind other EU hubs.

How do we manage to establish the alpine space as an innovative hub on the international level? This is where Scale(up)Alps comes in: Through this project, a cooperative network made up of key players in policy making, economics, administration and academia that optimally supports young, scalable companies (scaleups) will be developed. UnternehmerTUM is partner in Germany. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg Alpine Space programme.
Projekt Scale(up)Alps

As a leading ecosystem internationally, the alpine space can attract start-ups, and through this, the economy in the alpine space will be further improved. Optimal framework conditions will be developed and tested in cooperation with representatives of politics on a local and transregional level in the following areas:

1. Attracting talent
2. Taking advantage of market opportunities
3. Obtaining funding

Through this project, the AS will serve as a best practice model as an ecosystem with a systematic way of supporting scaleups.
